And when you draw from it, the bill always comes due and it's never small. Wicca and similar practices are rooted in the nature elements, balance, and harmless intention. But over time, witchcraft doesn't stay separate from your life. It entangles itself in it. What begins as curiosity becomes dependence. Many experience blackouts, sleepless nights, paranormal encounters that don't wait for rituals to be performed. Unexplained fear. After stopping the practice, it doesn't stop following. Because spirits that are invited do not leave politely.

The Discovery Under The Mattress

Hi, my name is Alana. I have been or was in an abusive relationship for five to six, almost six years. And um, my partner at the time was verbally abusive. He was very abusive. He used to tell me, you know, things like you're stupid, you say stuff that doesn't make any sense, breaks your mind, you're dumb, you know, stuff like that. Um, he would curse me and want to have full control. He was a very attractive guy, tall, dark, handsome, you know, had a lot of friends, female and male friends alike. And he was cheating, constantly cheating, telling lies, abusive, you know, verbally. And I found myself giving him my money, like he would ask for a loan, but I would never get it back. I was stressed out, I started losing a lot of weight, I would smoke a lot but not eat, and I had stopped working for a few months well, and I depleted all of my savings um because I had my bills to pay, and he wasn't helping in that aspect. Eventually, I decided to rearrange my room, turn around the furniture, you know, clean up, do some spring cleaning. And when I moved my bed and I had to lift the mattress up to move the bed, um I found one of his underwears under my mattress on the side of the pillow that I not pillow, but mattress that I sleep on most regularly. So I looked at it and I asked my cousin, why is this hair? She looked at me, I looked at her, and she's like, because I think that's witchcraft. My blood ran cold. I sat there and I broke down. I said, Oh my god, I think that is why I was unable to walk out of the relationship. That's why I was able, wasn't able to leave him to end it, and I kept letting him back into my life. She said, Cuz that is not you, because you're not the type of woman to tolerate this, and it seems like you know, you have lower self-esteem, and that is not the Alana that I know. And the Holy Spirit spoke to me. The Holy Spirit said, Go to church, it's Friday, it's deliverance. He said, So we're going to pray for curses, we're going to pray for anybody who has, you know, witchcraft done on their lives, and I felt like a whole weight was lifted off of me. It didn't end there because I kept coming back. I kept coming to the church, I kept coming every Friday, and I prayed to God to deliver me from my addiction and marijuana. Because, as far as I could remember, since I was 19 years old, when I graduated high school, I started smoking marijuana, and I smoked marijuana constantly for almost 30 years. And that Friday, it was the seventh Friday actually. After deliverance that night, I went home. All the marijuana that I had, I flushed down the toilet, I got rid of the wrapping paper, the lighter, everything. And that was it. It's been almost five years now since I'm clean. I haven't smoked. I don't get the urge. Actually, when I pass by people who are smelling, I actually feel nauseous and want to throw up. Um, the night of that deliverance, I told the guy, that's it. That's the end of it. I packed up the little stuff that he had at my home and I gave it back to him. He was very angry. He was girls and carrying on. And I told him he had to leave. I feel so good mentally, physically, spiritually. I try my best to live a life that's pleasing to God. I have such a peace now. I have such a very like peaceful life. No matter what happens, I continue. I've been coming to church. My son is a member of the church also. We both got baptized, and my life has really made a big 360. Like, and what I want most of all is for my name and my son's name to be written in the book of life. Trust me, the the peace is is overwhelming. Sometimes I find myself in prayer and and I'm crying. And I'm not crying because I'm sad, but because I'm so happy that God chose me and I chose to walk this path.
