Today we are beginning this new series. Every week we are going to bring one of these series, one of the symptoms or the signs that will show to you what spiritual oppression is all about. Maybe you have one of those. Every week we are going to discuss about one of that. Today we are going to talk about the depression. That is the first one. You have been to doctors, psychiatrists, psychologists. You go to the therapists, and they try to treat you to know a veil. You have this spiritual oppression that is called depression. I want to show to you right now what the pressure is all about in this spiritual point of view. Watch this video and understand more what the pressure is all about.

Signs Of Depression And Isolation

Getting out of bed in the morning is hard for you. The night before was even harder. Simply feeling down and experiencing extreme sadness. It's like a dark cloud is following you around. You feel alone, like there is no one that can support or help you. You feel stuck, almost like your life has become a repetitive cycle of highs and lows. One moment you feel happy, ready for what's ahead, and the other you feel very down. Like there is no reason to live. These emotions may cause you to have thoughts of suicide or to self-harm in order to release the pain you are feeling inside. It feels like your life has turned into a living nightmare. And you ask yourself, is there anything that can cure my depression?

Only the power of God to cure your depression, to deliver you, to set you free. He has power to free you, to free yourself, just as he has done for her. That's right. I'm talking about this late Liz Beth. She used to self-harm herself, taking a lot of appeals, and she felt like she was never enough that she had no future. This is what depression is all about. Maybe even then in prison, you are in this close costate. You are in this house. You are housed, you are in SEG, you are by yourself right now. The only thing that you see every single day is these four walls, the roof, and you hear the noises outside, on the outside of your cell. But not just necessarily in a cell.

Liz Beth’s Story: From Self-Harm To Hope

You only stay inside of your bedroom. You keep the lights off, you don't want to see nobody. These are the signs of uh spiritual pressure that is called depression. As a result, you just want to be by yourself. That was the case, and in prison, many people do it. They self-harm, they cut themselves, their arms, their throats, uh they want to kill themselves. Maybe your body is full of scars. To ease the pain of the soul, you cut yourself. You need spiritual help. The scripture says right here anxiety in the heart of a man causes the pressure. But a good word makes it glad. The good word is the word of God. The word of God that is powerful to make you glad. You have no reason to smile. Nothing makes you happy. You put on a mask, you have this beautiful smile, but even though you are smile, your eyes shows that you are sad. Inside of your heart, you are sad, angry, bitter, no matter how hard you try it, but you are sad. You put on this makeup, you put on this mask to impress others, but at the end of the day you have to take it off, right? When you are lonely in your bedroom in your cell, in the morning, when you look to yourself through the mirror, you see the real you. We are going to pray in a few. Prepare that cup of water. I had um a lot of hate inside of me, a lot of resentment, one relationship to another, jumping from one relationship to another, not even waiting a month. When I was five years old, my parents separated. And due to that, I started with depression since the age of five. And growing up, um, it never it it it the depression got greater, and which led me to wanting uh actually cutting myself, drinking um over-the-counter um medication to drug myself, to sleep it out. I felt that I was never enough. I wasn't valued, and I out I always asked, why am I not enough to my father? I just didn't, I couldn't take it anymore. I wanted to commit suicide. I didn't see any future for me, even though I have my children. I just I thought they would be better off with their dads. 2019, I had my son. I hated um his father. It was always um fighting, um, hitting.

And um one night um he left the house. I knew I went in my car. There was an accident, and after um I was I gained my conscience back, um, the police officer were there. He was, they said that I followed him, that I wanted to kill him. I don't remember the impact. I don't remember um the accident. Even though I was like completely bruised, the cars turned over. I don't remember. All I remember was being in the patrol car in the backseat. From there on, um I was in jail for three days. My love my love life was completely destroyed because even though I tried to um, even though I tried to give my all, you know, did did everything for them, it was never enough. But I deep inside I knew um I could only find it within God. But I just tried to avoid everything because I felt um hate towards God because of everything that I had gone through. I just didn't want to wanted to give my life to God. Um, you know, I continued my life, and two months after that happened, I started in a relationship. I got pregnant with my daughter, my youngest one. You know, I put my aw into it thinking that I was finally gonna be happy. And um, it didn't work because there was cheating, there was fighting, um, we divorced. Um, my mom has been attending the universal church since the year 29. Yeah, she got an invitation from an attendant. She came and started inviting the whole family. I started coming to church, and even though I was still coming to church, I was still being with other men. I still felt that depression, that loneliness. I knew I had it to um make a decision because I was already in church, but I had not given my life to God because

Seeking The Holy Spirit And Inner Change

I was still holding on to hate from the past. Um, after coming to the service of deliverance, and from there I understood that the day of the accident that I had, those were demons that were that were in my mind, that were making me have depression, have anxiety, wanting to harm others and um myself. I heard in church about the Holy Spirit. I did not know what the Holy Spirit was, but I heard that the Holy Spirit changed a person's life. And I wanted that complete change in my life, and I was seeking the Holy Spirit day by day. I was looking for him in the middle of the night when I was in my house, when I was working, driving, I was speaking to God that it was what I really wanted from all this world. It was what I wanted. I remember that I went to the altar and I poured my life there to God completely. When I went back to my seat, I felt this peace. I felt this love, this happiness that was unexplainable. After I received the Holy Spirit, a big change happened inside of me. I'm able to communicate with my family members. All that anxiety, that depression, those bad thoughts, everything that I felt in my heart, everything changed. I used to think that a person that I was with, they had it to make me happy. They had it to make me feel peace, secure with them, that they had it to erase all the past that I had, all that trouble that I was going through. I thought that they had it to come and fix all my life. I did not know that happiness came from God inside, and nothing fulfilled it until I received the Holy Spirit, He filled everything, all that emptiness that was inside.

causes depression. And as a result, you try like to take many pills. You take pills to sleep, you take pills for pain. In the morning, you are tired, you need a boost. Now you take more pills to go by the day. Because you are so exhausted, so tired. Well, the Lord wants and he is going to deliver you to set you free. Completely free.

The name of Jesus has power in heaven, on earth, under the earth against you, evil spirit. The spirit that causes depression. The power of God enters your soul, enters your body. So right now, evil spirit, I command in the name of Jesus Christ, open your eyes, hand upon your head, a hand upon your heart, and you say, Depression, say after me, depression, say all evil, in Jesus' name.
