Bishop Bira Joshua

Reach out to us!

Time is moving, and sooner than we think, every list we keep—career goals, upgrades, even the best intentions—will meet a larger question: what happens to the soul? We open with a clear truth many avoid. The world passes, our clock ticks, and nothing matters more than salvation. That focus reframes everything we chase, because if we seek the Giver before the gifts, Jesus promises that what we truly need will be added.

SPEAKER_03:

It's time for some soul food with your host, Bishop Vera Joshua.

SPEAKER_04:

The world is passing away, our clock is ticking, and for that reason, nothing is of more importance than eternal life. This is the moment of salvation.

SPEAKER_00:

Seek first. The moment of salvation. What to seek first? Usually the human being they have their uh list. They to do list, the list of their dreams, the list of their goals, the list of their plans. What to do or what to seek first? Good morning to you. Good afternoon. Good evening. Whatever time you are watching now, the moment of salvation. You can anytime go back and watch the previous videos, the series about salvation. The first thing that we have to fight for is our soul. The soul has to be the first one. So this is what we are discussing here today. Seek salvation first.

SPEAKER_03:

Yet in the spiritual realm, it's an incalculable treasure. At this very moment, a battle rages for our souls between light and darkness. With God on one side and the devil on the other, they wait for each of us to choose which side we are on. People struggle, strive, and do whatever they can to secure their future. They invest in building beautiful bodies, in pursuing knowledge, education, and possessions, but they leave their soul behind. While the world sees them as intelligent and successful, the Lord Jesus gives them another name. This night your soul will be required of you. Then whose will those things be which you have provided? Our soul has no color, gender, or age, but is hidden inside of us. Whenever we feel pain, it's our soul that feels it. Whenever a human body dies, no matter what is done to that body, it can no longer feel or react because the soul is gone. It's the soul that expresses our feelings. Unlike our physical bodies that return to dust, our souls are eternal. Yet many live their lives with no concern for their soul. This is a worldwide death count in real time, and the counter doesn't stop. As each day comes to an end, an estimated 150,000 people will have died. The big question remains: where are they going? In this battle for your soul, the one you served in your lifetime is the one who wins. If God was a one, then angels will carry your soul to eternal joy. If you serve the devil, then demons will take you into eternal torment. The instant a soul leaves the body, someone comes to retrieve it. And this is the pain God feels when he looks at the world and sees people who are lost and deceived, who disobey his word as if there is no tomorrow. They fear the laws of men more than they fear the laws of God. He aches to see so many souls heading for hell because they choose to live far apart from him. The devil works hard to make people ignore this daily war, distracting them with the concerns of this world so that at the end of their lives, he can take possession of their soul for all eternity. Fighting for our salvation and holding on to it is our daily battle that only ends after we've taken our final breath in this world. How much do you value your soul? Gaining all this world has to offer could never make up for the loss of your salvation. For what profit is it to a man if he gains the whole world and loses his own soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul?

SPEAKER_00:

Seek first your salvation. Seek first you are for your soul. Here the book of prophet Isaiah reads. This is what we are going to do in a field. We are going to seek the Lord first. Yes, he's near you. Even you who are inside of prison, the Lord is near you. You can seek him while you can find him. I received this letter from prison. This gentleman said he needs prayer because he's selling. Yes. One Saturday morning, he fell sick and he lied down to sleep. At the end of the day, when he tried to get up, he fainted, he fell, and he was dead. That Saturday was his last Saturday in prison. Which means you need to seek the Lord while you may find him. Isaiah 55, verse 7. Let the wicked forsake his way and the unrighteous man his thoughts. Let him return to the Lord. And he, the Lord, oh yes, will have mercy on him and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon Eon. Usually the human being sicks first Monday, Korea, like when somebody leaves prison. The first thing that they seek is a good job because they want to support themselves and the family, start anew. But Jesus also said, Without me, you can do nothing. This is our podcast here today. I need a house, I need a job, I need a wife, I need a husband, I need a house, I need children, I need many things, I need love. Once Jesus comes to you, He saves you and all the other things will be added onto you. The Bible says Matthew chapter 6. This is the advice of Jesus. Therefore, do not worry, say, What shall we eat? Or what shall we drink? Or what shall we wear? These are the things that the human being looks for. For after all these things, the Gentiles seek, they seek what? Food, drinking, clothing. He said, For your heavenly father knows that you need all these things. But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you. He knows what you need, he knows your wants, he knows your necessities. That's why he is a provider. But if you seek first who he is, not what he has to give to you, you are going to receive him inside of you. He is the savior. Besides healing, providing, delivering, blessing, he is the savior. And he died on the cross to save us. Right now, join me in prayers. Jesus is now the prayer to seek first salvation.

SPEAKER_04:

Prayer connects us with God and is essential in our journey of salvation. This is now the moment of prayer.

SPEAKER_00:

My Lord and my Father, I pray to you right now. And I ask you, Father God, that your spirits may empower Jesus. That your spirits may come upon those who decide now to seek you first. Lord, I have many needs. I want many things, I have many goals, dreams, I have many projects, resolutions. However, Lord, you said without me, you can do nothing. And we are a hundred percent aware of it. Without you, Father God, we cannot make anything. People always worried about what you eat, what you drink, what you wear. Lord, what you said, your heavenly father, your heavenly father, Lord, you are you eat and you have eat to us. But the priority is the soul. What is the point if I feed the body? But my soul is empty and hungry. What about if I feed my body? I drink, I satisfy, I quench my thirst, I put on the best clothing. I have a beautiful house, beautiful family, but I do not have you. There is no point, it's pointless. So, Holy Spirit, I ask you right now, help disperse. Let disperser know who you are. Fill this person with your spirit. It is written, seek the Lord while you may find, and we can find you right now. Let this person perhaps in prison, lost in light, find you. We seek you because you are near. Oh my friends, over there, seek the Lord. The Lord is near. Put all your priorities, your dreams, your worries, concerns, problems aside, and right now seek the Lord. In this moment of salvation, you are seeking first, and now I say, receive peace. Have your name written in the book of life. The Lord saves you, receive right now salvation. In the name of the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit, receive the light of God upon your soul. Be lighted, be saved, and all other things shall be added unto you. That is the message over here, and all these things shall be added on to you. We are going to be back soon with one more episode of this salvation series. We are going to bring one more for you as seek first. Bless your life. Share this video with somebody. You who are in prison, you can tell a friend of yours to go to the tablets and watch about salvation. Because those who are saved, they want to save. The Lord said, Freely you have received, freely you give. God bless all of you. See you soon.
