What if the most important moment of your life has no countdown? We explore the urgency and hope of living ready when no one knows the day or the hour, moving from the warnings of Matthew 24–25 to the parable of the ten virgins and the sober mirror of Noah’s days. The message is not doom; it’s clarity. If we plan for weddings, graduations, and travel, why do we delay preparing our souls? SPEAKER_01:Here on the Soul Food Podcast. The world is passing away. Our clock is ticking, and for that reason, nothing is of more importance than eternal life. This is the moment of salvation.
SPEAKER_00:The day ends the hour. Hi there! May the God of the Bible bless your life. Do you know the day or the hour? The Lord is coming back. Good morning to you. Good afternoon. Good evening. Whatever day, time that you are watching us, God wants to bring to you this awareness. Yes, he warned us about the day and the hour. Nobody knows the day the Lord Jesus will come. Nobody knows the day he will depart. The only thing we know for sure, one day we depart. The book of Matthew, chapter twenty-five, reads. What therefore, for you know neither the day nor the hour, in which the sun, yes, the son of man is coming. We do not know about the day or the hour. Jesus was talking about the ten virgins. Five of them were wise, and the other five were foolish. Foolish because they did not care. They did not prepare themselves. Like the youth. They think they have a journey, they're going to live for more 10, 20, 30, 40 years ahead. But they once that are died, losing their lives, and of course they are so. Nowadays they are elderly. Parents are bearing their children. Nobody knows the day or the hour. You need to get ready. The scripture says on verse 38, for as in the days of the flood, before the flood, they were eating, drinking, and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark. And they did not know until the flood came and took them all away. So also will be the coming of the Son of Man be. Just like in the days of Noah, nobody knew the day, the hour, they were not expecting. But that's right, the flood came and took them away. We have to live every day as if Christ Jesus is coming. No, no, no, not tomorrow. Today. Right now. We hear about floods. The floods. Just like these past days, there was a flood in the Caribbean. Hurricane, earthquakes, waves, disasters. Well, now we have this announcement, the news that tell us to prepare for hurricanes, for earthquakes, for these disasters, natural disasters. But in the days of Noah, there was no preparation, no announcement. They were just taken. But the Lord told Noah to build the ark. If you're going back and read verse 37, you are going to see the part of the day and the hour, verse 36. The day and the hour, no one knows. Not even the angels of heaven, but my father only. But as the days of Noah were, so also will be the coming of the Son of Man be. The coming of the Son of Man will be like this. Not even the angels. Pay attention. So profound, so strong. If you realize, not even the angels in heaven knows the day or the hour. Only the Father. The Heavenly Father knows the day or the hour. All you need to do is to get ready to be prepared. Before we continue reading here, Matthew, let us watch together this video.
SPEAKER_02:The kingdom of heaven shall be likened to ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom. Now five of them were wise, and five were foolish. Those who were foolish took their lamps and took no oil with them. But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps. But while the bridegroom was delayed, they all slumbered and slept. And at midnight, a cry was heard, Behold, the bridegroom is coming. Go out to meet him. Then all those virgins arose and trimmed their lamps. And the foolish said to the wise, Give us some of your oil, for our lamps are going out. But the wise answered, saying, No, lest there should not be enough for us and you. But go rather to those who sell and buy for yourselves. And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came. And those who were ready went in with them to the wedding. And the door was shut. Afterward, the other virgins came also, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us. But he answered and said, Assuredly, I say to you, I do not know you. Prioritize the Holy Spirit so that your lamp does not go out. Let your garments always be white, and let your head lack no oil. The Universal Church of the Kingdom of God. Find practical faith for life.
SPEAKER_00:Practical faith for life. That's right. Practical faith for life. We are going to pray in a few to prepare ourselves. When people get the wedding, when people get married, when people get these uh graduations, trips, travels, they always prepare themselves in our division. Since we do not know the day or the hour, we need to prepare ourselves. Matthew 25, verse 43 reads. No Jesus that if the master of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have what and allowed, not allowed, he his house to be broken into. Therefore, also be ready. For the Son of Man is coming at an hour in you do not expect.
SPEAKER_01:This is now the moment of prayer.
SPEAKER_00:Oh my father, we do not know the day or the hour. How many people died today? How many people did not wake up for another day? How many people in the hospital did you not make it? How many were healthy, strong, no issues, and just stopped breathing? Lord, our lives on earth, life on earth is not eternal. It expires. And if we do not go, you will come. But if you do not come in our generation, we want to be ready. Yes, Lord, we want to be ready. So now Father God. We are praying to you. We are asking you, Holy Spirit, for dispersion that is far from you. They prepare the wedding. They prepare themselves to welcome the baby. These ladies expecting a baby. There are many preparations. Preparations for a trip to travel. Preparations for a graduation, preparations, preparations, and preparations. Nobody says I'm going to die today. Nobody says today is my last day. Not even those who are in a death row in prison. But you said watch the phobia because you do not know the day of the hour. The Lord is coming. Oh yes, like in the days of Noah. In the days of the Noah, David, they were dead just to enjoy life, to live their lives. Oh Father God, in the name of Jesus Christ, your son. I ask you for the salvation of the soul of the dispersed. I ask you, Father, for the salvation, the transformation of dispersed soul. Oh, I ask you, Savior their soul, and help disperser to prepare himself by reading the Bible, seeking the Holy Spirit, departing from the world. Help disperser, Lord, to be closer and closer to you. This is what we pray in the name of the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit, prepare us for the day, unknown day and unknown hour. Day and the hour prepare us. In Jesus' name. Amen. Praise God.
SPEAKER_04:So I give myself away.
SPEAKER_00:Let somebody be saved. Because the ones that are saved, they want to save as well. You have given yourself to the Lord, live a life of preparation. To go or to welcome Jesus when he comes to take his church. We are going to be soon in our next episode. Salvation. God bless you. Bye bye.
