Speaker 2:

Hello there, friends, may the Lord Jesus bless your life Together once again with our series the Voice of Satan. Don't talk to Satan. Don't waste your time talking to the devil, and he's not going to appear to you physically. He is spirit, evil spirit, unclean spirit. The scripture says that Satan, when Jesus was fasting, he appeared and he said. Then the devil said to him, to Jesus all this authority I will give you and their glory, for this has been delivered to me. So say that is the father of lie or lies. Say that used that moment that Jesus was hungry, fasting and he brought his life. And how many times say that comes to you and brings his lies. I know that some movies, cartoons, shows Jesus on the mountain and show a character like a demon, but in that case Satan appeared to Jesus in spirit, talking to him in his mind. But Jesus was in spirit and Satan said all authority I will give you, for this has been delivered to me and I give it to whoever I wish. That was a scheme. Satan brought this trap to Jesus. Therefore, if you will worship me, all will be yours. Just worship me, all will be yours. And Jesus said get behind me, satan, for this is written you shall worship the Lord, your God, and him only you shall serve. You see, in that moment Satan wanted Jesus to transfer his worship, his obedience, from the Father God to him himself. But Jesus was there, remember fasting, he was in spirit.

Speaker 2:

Tomorrow I'm going to talk about Peter, because the same God said here to Satan he said to Peter get behind me, satan. He identified the voice of the devil. You need to identify who is speaking to you, god or the devil. Jesus identified his voice and he said get behind me, satan. He said the same to Peter when Peter's poor and used by the deaf. So when Satan comes with his lies saying I have authority to give you this, to give you that your blessing comes from the Lord, especially when Satan uses people to say why not? It's not like that. Don't be so serious about your religion, don't be so serious about your church. You are always in church, church, church, church. You are a church person.

Speaker 2:

These are the lies of the devil. The lies of the devil, first of all. You are not serious about a religion, about the church. You are serious about the word of God, are serious about the word of God. Don't hear the voice of the devil. Jesus on the mountain was in spirit. Only if we are in spirit we identify the voice of the devil, and deep inside of us we have to say Satan, you are tied up in Jesus' name. I will listen to the Lord only, all right. May the God of the Bible bless you. Tomorrow we are going to talk about Peter when he was used by the devil. God bless you.

Speaker 4:

We'll be you next time. So when I was a year and a half, my mom passed away. I didn't have, like all kids had a normal childhood. I didn't have that. I was molested. He was like a deacon in the church because he used to preach on the altar. His molestation it wasn't like to say intercourse, but he would fill me up like he would touch my private parts and stuff, like that, like he'd come and say, oh, he's coming to wake me up in the morning and he'll touch my private part and stuff. But the physical abuse, like sexually, was a friend of the family. And then I went to my dad and I told him and he turned back and did it to me and I did hold that grudge for years. I was told that I was ugly. I was told that I would never be nothing in life, that nobody would ever care about me.

Speaker 4:

While I was a teenager I tried to kill myself two times. I was crying, I took a whole thing of pills, I swallowed it, but for some reason I slept for like two days straight. Nobody knew nothing. The second time I did it, my son was about three or four months, I was like 18. And his father knew and his father made me vomit it out. I was fed up with the situation. I feel like I couldn't take no more because there's nobody that I could have talked to. At one point I thought my aunt was my mom. I feel like I couldn't take no more because there's nobody that I could have talked to. At one point I thought my aunt was my mom, but the way they were treating me. That's why I'm like oh, she treated all the kids better. Maybe because I'm a different father, because I didn't know my mom. I thought she was my mother. So I went to my father and I was asking, getting treated because I don't have a mom.

Speaker 4:

I used to go to church but I never know like, ok, the way we know God now, I did not know that God was God at that time. I hear about him, I read about him, they talk about him in the church, but there's nobody to say oh, they'll break it down to you about. I didn't even know about the Holy Spirit until I started coming to the universal church. When I came to the universal church, I spoke to the pastor and his wife and you know we used to have counseling and they used to counsel me and everything. And then they talked to me about the prayer that I used to go seven days a week to the chain of prayer Monday, tuesday, wednesday, tuesday, friday, saturday, sunday just to fight for my life because I had, let me tell you, it was a lot on me. So now going there talking to the pastors their wives, you know helped me to overcome that pain, that resentment, that anger that I had.

Speaker 4:

I learned how to forgive, which was the first thing. I called my father tell him that I had. I learned how to forgive, which was the first thing I called my father tell him that I forgive him the people that did hurt me in the past. After I spoke to my father, which was of my first call, I called everybody else that I had their number I could have find their number to tell them that I forgive them. I'm no longer holding any grudges and I open as God to forgive them for what they did. Then, after that, I realized I don't get upset, like if somebody bump into me or whatever. I don't get upset like I used to. So that's how I realized okay, there's a change in me.

Speaker 4:

The pastors were talking about the Holy Spirit going to service every Wednesday evening at 7 pm, every Sunday morning at 10, seeking for the Holy Spirit. I didn't get the Holy Spirit right then, and then I still was fighting for the Holy Spirit at the Holy Spirit right then. And then I still was fighting for the Holy Spirit, still doing my prayer. And one Saturday morning I was sitting in the church. We had service in the morning. I'm sitting there. Pastor said pray. You know, do your prayer, seek for the Holy Spirit.

Speaker 4:

I put my nails down and I actually I did pray. I really seek for the Holy Spirit. I'm like I need your presence now more than I ever did. I need you inside of me. I need your guidance, I need your protection, I need your spirit to live in me because the person that I was, I don't want to be that person. I want to be changed. I want to be born again. I want to be baptized with the Holy Spirit. And I'm there and I'm like okay, while I'm praying I felt that joy. So I was like laughing and crying at the same time.

Speaker 4:

And when we finished praying, the pastor looked at me and he's like oh, miss Wilma, he's like how you feel? And he's laughing and I'm laughing and I'm crying. Holy Spirit came upon me and that was like the best thing ever, the best feeling ever. I cannot ever forget this day. That was the best comfort, the best blanket, the best security, the best of everything that you could ever receive, the best gift of life, that joy that I had, that peace I received that day.

Speaker 4:

It stays in me. No one cannot take it away from me. No one has nothing to do with it. It's between me and God and it stays inside of me forever. I'm a changed person. I'm a born again person. No more anger, no more feeling suicidal thoughts, no more yelling, cursing, screaming, fighting. None of that. The love that you're looking for you're not going to get it in a club. You're not going to get it from a boyfriend. You're not going to get it from your family. You're not going to get it in a club. You're not going to get it from a boyfriend. You're not going to get it from your family. You're not going to get it from your friends. The only love that you're going to receive is the Holy Spirit. You're going to get that from God. Surrender your life to God and give him your all and he will return back to you.
