Speaker 2:

Hello, dear friends, may the Lord Jesus bless your life once again, together with our message of faith. I always say do not let nobody spoil your day, do not let nobody ruin your day and times. You wake up full of plans to work on your agenda, your schedule, to reach your goal, but then somebody brings to you just one word and that word ruins your day. That word destroys your day. You lose hope, you are annoyed, upset and, at the end of the day, nothing that you have planned succeeded. Why? Because Satan used somebody to ruin your day.

Speaker 2:

We are going to have this series, yes, this series, the messages that will be about the voice, but not the voice of God, but the voice of the devil. Every day we hear the voice of God. We go to church, we read the Bible, we receive messages like this one, and we are so glad when we hear the word of God that teaches us, that disciplines us, corrects us, the word of God that is so powerful, stronger than fire. But how to identify the voice of the devil? I just said that you wake up with plans, goals, but then comes somebody, and usually it's someone closer to you, a relative, a co-worker, somebody that you admire, somebody that you even respect and that person brings a word. I mean somebody you respect like an authority and this person brings a word or a comment that ruins your day. That ruins your day.

Speaker 2:

And nowadays Satan uses the internet. When people target you, they send you a direct message or just a comment in your post. They send out of the blue a message, and that comment, that message, puts you down, makes you upset. Well, this week we are going to talk about it, but for now I want you to understand something Don't let their voices, their words, their bad intentions to ruin your day, to bring you down. Don't let it happen to you at all. Stay tuned, stay in the faith because, yes, the Lord, the God of the Bible, will bless you. What they say cannot impact your soul, cannot impact you inside. Forget about what they say, believe in God, believe in yourself and go ahead. We are going to start this series the voice of the devil. God bless you. Have a good one. Bye, bye.

Speaker 3:

Growing up was tough. My mom passed away when I was young and my father was left broken. To cope with the pain, he began to drink and when he was angry he would take it out on my siblings and I. He would abuse us, fill our heads with negative words. He would abuse us, fill our heads with negative words. You're a failure, a coward, a disappointment. With every insult, I grew more and more numb, accepting his words as truth. Although now my father is long gone, his words still echo in my head. I have become everything he said I would be.

Speaker 4:

My name is Tessa John and today I have the mind of Christ. Before receiving the Holy Spirit, I lacked confidence. I was unable to make decisions on my own. I was very shy. I was at one time I was, like I would actually say, depressed. You know, I had some issues with my family and it started, you know, it caused me to doubt myself and the decision that I was making, because I felt like, you know, whatever I was doing, it was to please others and not to please myself.

Speaker 4:

I used to go to parties almost every other week, find something to do or have drinks with friends or just to get out of the house, and it just didn't work for me. There was one time that I went to a club and something happened home and I drank. I just wanted to forget it and, you know, absolutely nothing happened. Deep down inside, I knew that I wanted something more. I just didn't know how to change. I did not know what to do, and I always think I'm going to fail Before I even try. I always tell myself I'm gonna fail because in my mind I just pictured it how things gonna work out, and it never worked out the way that I thought it was going to my mindset. I was very negative towards myself and to point to others, because I used to look at others and want to be like them. So, you know, by doing that, you know, I hated myself to a point, like you know, why can I be like this person? Why can I have that confidence that that other person has? Why can I do like they do? It was a constant battle in my mind, wanting to be, you know, like others, trying to fit in.

Speaker 4:

When I came into the church, first I was fighting for my deliverance. I wanted to be free, I wanted to have a peace of mind. I was delivered from. I used to go to the parties and drinking and stuff like that. I was delivered from those things and they were talking about the Holy Spirit. And then I learned that the Holy Spirit, you know, take your pain and all your suffering away from you. You know, if you don't have a peace of mind, you know the Holy Spirit take that place that give you that comfort that you never had. I used to go to other churches before they read the Bible but, you know, there was no Emphasis on the Holy Spirit. Occasionally you would, you know, mention the Holy Spirit, but I did not know what was the Holy Spirit, just the name. I was coming on a Wednesday. Then the fast of Daniel came. I used to try to come almost every day, you know, come to church more. You know, read the Bible more and pray more. I wanted change, I wanted a new beginning. So I made the ultimate sacrifice and I received the Holy Spirit.

Speaker 4:

The day that I received the Holy Spirit, I felt at peace. I felt a great joy. You know, I felt light. I just felt different joy. You know, I felt light. I just felt different and the peace that I felt remained with me. You know, it wasn't just I felt a moment and it was over. No, you know, after even going through situations, it was different for me, where I used to be stressed out and stuff like that, and when a situation come, when a problem come, you know, it was like nothing to me. I am NOT insecure anymore. I'm not doubtful of myself, I'm very confident. I make decisions on my own. I don't have to ask nobody the opinion. When this Holy Spirit came upon me, my life changed. You know what he did for me, he can do for you. So you know, I seek him. He will change your life.
