The Fast of Daniel: Day 3
The burning bush that Moses encountered on Mount Sinai offers a powerful metaphor for our spiritual lives when filled with the Holy Spirit. Just as the bush burned with fire yet wasn't consumed, we too can experience the paradox of having problems surround us while remaining undefeated by them.
Day three of our Fast of Daniel journey explores this profound truth - receiving the Holy Spirit doesn't make life problem-free. You become like that mysterious bush: surrounded by flames yet standing strong and intact.
Throughout these 21 days of seeking to please the Holy Spirit, open yourself to this transformative fire that empowers you from within. Join us tomorrow as we continue our Fast of Daniel journey, exploring more dimensions of life with the Holy Spirit. Share this message with someone who needs spiritual encouragement today!
It's time for Soul Food.
Speaker 2:And then suddenly, from the sky, the sound of a strong wind filled the whole house and they were filled with the Holy Spirit.
Speaker 3:When the wind starts to blow, everything will be moved. Everything's brought together. When the wind starts to blow Fast of Daniel 21 days pleasing the Holy Spirit Hi there.
Speaker 3:May the Lord Jesus bless your life once again, together with the fast of Daniel, day three. You know, when a person receives the Holy Spirit, he receives the fire of God inside of himself. The Spirit of God within you gives you. When we say fire, it's not the physical fire but the flame of fire. When Moses came to Mount Sinai, he saw the burning bush, the bush, the dry tree, and it had the fire inside tree and it had the fire inside. And Moses saw that the fire did not consume the bush. Right, the fire was there inside.
Speaker 3:Once you have the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of God inside of you, oh yes, you have this fire and nobody can consume you. No diseases, no afflictions, no problems. That's why we say we have problems on the outside, the dry bush. It was dry, but the fire was inside. Let us figure out the fire was inside of the bush. It was on flames of fire, but the fire did not consume it. This is the beauty of having the Holy Spirit, because once you have the Holy Spirit, don't you have problems outside. I'm not here saying receive the Holy Spirit and like they say, fat free, sugar free, problem free. It does not happen. On the contrary, when you have the Holy Spirit, you have more problems, right, more problems, more persecutions in the house, in the church, wherever you go, but with this flame of fire inside of you, you are not consumed. We are going to be talking about the fire in our other episodes, but right now let us understand the Holy Spirit is fire within you.
Speaker 3:The Holy Spirit is holy fire within Fast of Daniel, 21 days pleasing the Holy Spirit, psalms 104, verse 4, says he makes his angels spirits, his ministers, his people, his servants flame of fire. Once the Holy Spirit is inside of you, you become these flames of fire. The angels he makes spirits, but his ministers. And God wants to use you. God does not use only pastors, deacons, bishops, reverends, missionaries, pastors, deacons, bishops, reverends, missionaries, ushers, assistants. No, god wants to use you as well. Fire will be inside of you. Problems outside, but inside of you you are the ministers of fire and wherever you go, you burn the devil, receive the Holy Spirit, receive the fire of God inside. Wherever you go, you burn the devil, receive the holy spirit, receive the fire of god inside of you. Tomorrow, once again, we are going to be back here with day number four in our fast of daniel. Share this message with a friend of yours god, god bless you. Have a good one.
